Landmark Education in Chennai, India.
At the best of times, in those moments when we are freed from our past resignations, we dream of what can be. As graduates we have access to tools, trainings, projects, and structures of support from Landmark Education. As we participate with the community projects initiated by
Landmark Forum graduates, our individual and personal dreams are actually fulfilled and become a new reality. To distinguish this, we call what we really want not dreams, but what we put at stake in our participation. To differentiate it from what most people call dream, which stays as a sweet fantasy.
For many years I have followed the conversations generated by our fellow graduates in Chennai, India. In July 2005 they accomplished to have what they had wanted to have, the First Ever Landmark Forum in their own city, which used to be called Madras. As this initiative is being fulfilled, many individuals have fulfilled what they put at stake already. And they go on to transform their bigger dreams.
We are privileged to hear from Ramesh Bhaskaran, in the story "
Causing the Demand for Transformation" that illustrates this out of the ordinary process of transformation. Where individuals have access to bring into reality what they wanted personally through standing for and contributing to the
transformation of their own communities. Not because this is the truth, but because they say so, and make it true.
